Higher tier balls (S, A, B) scale better into late game. A B-tier ball at level 10 will often outperform a C-tier ball at the same level, even if initial stats look similar.

When you have multiple copies of a ball needed for evolution, the game uses the oldest one first. This means you can safely collect extras without worrying about losing your best version.

💎 Rare Drop Mechanics

Don't spend everything you find. Save resources for critical stages (stages 5, 10, 15) where you're guaranteed better shop options. The difference between a good and great run is often knowing when to invest.

• Save 30% of currency for guaranteed shop stages

• Buy defensive items before stage 5 (first difficulty spike)

• Evolution materials are worth buying if you're 1 ball away from completion

Positioning Matters

Your character's position affects ball trajectory. Standing at the edges provides wider angles for hitting enemies, while center positioning offers more consistent shots.

• Edge position: Better for single targets and bosses

• Center position: Better for crowd control and multi-target

• Move between positions dynamically based on enemy formation

Evolution Timing

Don't evolve balls immediately. Wait until you have optimal items and synergies. Evolutions inherit bonuses from your current build, so timing matters significantly.

• Wait for damage-boosting items before evolving

• Evolve right before boss stages for maximum impact

• Don't evolve if you still need the base materials for other recipes

Shop Reroll Strategy

Expert

The first reroll in each shop costs less than subsequent ones. If you don't see anything good, one reroll is almost always worth it. Beyond that, only reroll if desperate.

• First reroll: Usually worth it (low cost, high upside)

• Second reroll: Only if you need specific evolution materials

• Third+ rerolls: Emergency only, very expensive

Maximize your effectiveness

Damage vs. Cooldown Balance

The optimal ratio is roughly 60% damage investment, 40% cooldown reduction. Too much of either creates diminishing returns. Balanced builds perform more consistently.

The 3-Ball Core

Successful runs typically focus on 3 main balls: one for single-target damage, one for area damage, and one utility ball. Don't spread yourself too thin.

Item Slot Efficiency

Percentage-based items become more valuable as you progress. Early game, flat bonuses are better. After stage 10, prioritize percentage increases.

Defensive Break Points

Certain defense thresholds allow you to survive one additional hit from bosses. Common breakpoints are at 30, 50, and 75 defense. Aim for these numbers.

Synergy Over Raw Stats

A lower-tier ball that synergizes well with your build will outperform a higher-tier ball that doesn't fit. Always prioritize synergy.
